1,500 euros for children in Valencia
It has become a cherished tradition for viastore to contribute to good causes through its Christmas puzzle. This year, the Stuttgart-based company is supporting the Save the Children association, which aids children affected by the flood disaster in the Valencia region. For every entry in the 2024 Christmas puzzle, viastore donated five euros.
Participants answered questions such as, "What is viastore's storage and retrieval machine for automated pallet warehouses called?", "How do users ensure that their warehouse remains up to date?", and "When can the viastore service experts be contacted?". A total of 237 puzzle enthusiasts took part, raising 1,175 euros for a worthy cause. viastore rounded up the donation to further support Save the Children, which is dedicated to helping children impacted by the floods in Valencia.
In late October 2024, heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding in Spain, resulting in severe damage across several regions. Save the Children is committed to alleviating the suffering of over 160,000 children in the Valencia region. Their action plan includes providing basic necessities to affected families, staffing educational institutions, and offering psychological support to traumatized children.
